Dean and Brenda Daubert’s Victory Acres Brown Swiss and Holstein Herd was dispersed November 16 at the farm near Perry, NY.  A pleasant fall day set the stage for a well attended event with a tent full of people all the way until the end. Cattle sold to 9 states as well as Ontario, Canada.

At the end of the day, the Brown Swiss cows averaged $1,650, including the high seller for the day at $4,300, Victory Acres Etlar Lilly. This highly ranked daughter of Etlar, was #50 on the (8/12) PPR listing and sold fresh with her second calf prior to sale day. Lilly was the choice of Jonathon Sterner and now makes her home in Eastern Pennsylvania. Final contenders on this promising young cow were Miles & Cheryl Tudhope of Vermont. 

Top seller from the heifer lots was Victory Acres Pep Lissa, ranked #8 on the (8/12) PPR Heifer Listing and sired by the popular young sire, Voelkers Wndt Chilli Pepper.  Lissa sold for $2800 to Nor-Bert Farms,  Bremen, IN.

The Holstein segment of the sale averaged $1,227 on 95 head of registered, identified and grade cattle.

The Victory Acres Dispersal was managed by Wm. Kent, Inc. of Stafford, NY with assistance from Modern Associates, St. Paris, OH. Bill and David Kent auctioned the sale with Wayne Sliker handling announcements. Josh and Seth Kent along with Brian Garrison worked the ring. The staff from the Wm. Kent, Inc. organization provided clerking duties.
