The Midwest Revue Sale was again held in conjunction with The Spring Dairy Expo at the Ohio State Fairgrounds in Columbus, Ohio. The March 28th sale saw 56 head average $3,119. while selling to breeders from 10 different states.  The attractive lineup included several deep pedigreed animals as well as a special group of show prospects.

Topping the sale at $14,000, Siegerts Jetway Sable ET, was purchased by Jeremy McDonald, Middletown, VA and then won 1st Jr. 3 year old as well as Res. Intermediate Champion at Friday night’s Brown Swiss Show for her new owner. She was Hon. Mention All American for 2011 after winning Jr. Champion at Louisville and is a Jetway daughter from an All American “2E93” Premium with over 30,000m. Sable sports a full pedigree from the accomplished Snowstorm maternal line and was a feature consignment from Top Acres, St. Paris, Ohio.

  Second high at $10,000. was Old Mill Supreme Grateful ET, a fancy bred heifer from a “4E93” dam with 34,850m. She is a maternal sister to Old Mill JP Grace ET, the 2010 Madison Grand Champion and Old Mill Starsky Love ET, the 2012 Madison Res. Intermediate Champion. Grateful was consigned by Old Mill Farm, VA/ Hillpoint Partners, WI and purchased by Antonio Moreno, TX.

Top Acres Supreme Fiesta ET, the All American Jr. 2 Year old from 2010, sold just fresh 4 days with promise of more great days ahead. She was taken at $8,700. by Garrison Brothers and Wayne E. Sliker, St. Paris, Ohio. and was the consignment of Jarrett Remsberg, Middletown, Maryland.

The Midwest Revue Sale was managed by Modern Associates with Wayne E. Sliker making pedigree announcements assisted by Darrell Worden and Tim Eiting sharing selling duties. Brian Garrison, Lee Barber and Dave Wallace fielded bids as well as covering the telephone customers. Leadspersons for the sale included Jeff Brown, Lydia Rinehart, Hanna Rhoades, Sara Rhoades, Zach Berry and William Hughes. Connie Sliker and Deb Hoffman kept the numbers straight and covered clerking details.
